NVIDIA announced on October 27 that it will deepen its partnership with Meta around the Muse AI assistant and related models, and plans to buy 3 billion dollars of newly issued Meta shares, according to Cailian Press. Jensen Huang and Mark Zuckerberg's joint statement framed AI agents as a new computing paradigm.
__FIG__1. Compute plus capital
This is more than a financial stake. Meta plans to deploy more NVIDIA infrastructure, including the Vera Rubin platform and Vera CPUs, to power next-generation agents. Muse and its agents already run on NVIDIA hardware, and both sides will optimize training and inference performance to cut running costs. A chipmaker taking an equity position in one of the largest application companies upgrades "selling GPUs" into "co-building an ecosystem" at a scale the industry has not seen before.
2. Agents move from chat to action
Muse is the core vehicle of Zuckerberg's "personal superintelligence" strategy, previously codenamed Hatch, aiming to serve Meta's billions of users. Reports say its design draws on the open-source agent OpenClaw: with user permission it can access email, calendar, payments, health, shopping and smart-home apps, with revocable access. As agents shift from answering questions to executing tasks, safety becomes the precondition. The two companies are also considering NVIDIA's OpenShell framework for secure agent deployment and the Sentry tool for monitoring agent behavior.
3. Capital-intensive AI buildout
On the same day Meta further upsized its share issuance (previously announced at up to 95 billion dollars) to fund AI infrastructure. Equity stakes, bonds and new shares now bind chipmakers and application companies together. The packaged playbook of "agents plus compute plus safety tooling" may become the standard template for big-tech cooperation over the next two years.
For enterprise deployments, the takeaway is that safety frameworks are maturing: the more an agent can do, the more permissions, audit trails and behavior monitoring matter. NineZenith's Zenith-Control agent platform provides multi-agent orchestration and permission control inside private environments, aligned with the same trend.
